Atlas Music Expanding Scope of Audiovisual Reach With Munger Music Joint Venture
ATLAS MUSIC PUBLISHING is excited to announce the formation of a new joint-venture with MUNGER MUSIC, to aggressively pursue and develop music publishing opportunities through strategic partnerships with established as well as emerging audio-visual production companies involved in the creation of compelling content in all forms of audiovisual media, including film, television, and the rapidly-evolving new media platforms that are defining today's entertainment industry.
The venture will leverage the resources of full-service independent music publisher Atlas Music Publishing, including its deep & diverse roster of songwriters; growing catalog of classic & contemporary hit songs; and robust, global administration platform with the resources of industry veteran Chris Munger and his firm Munger Music.
Atlas executives Richard Stumpf (CEO) and Phil Cialdella (COO) bring to the venture a wealth of experience in this specialized realm of music publishing, having previously developed one of the leading film/tv client rosters in the industry for independent pubco Cherry Lane, whose heavyweight clients included Lionsgate, Marvel Entertainment, DreamWorks SKG, Weinstein Co., NFL Films, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), NASCAR, Pokemon / 4Kids Entertainment, Lakeshore Films, Icon Films, and many others.
Through his years of building AV properties and Executive Producing TV & Film content, Chris Munger will utilize his experience, expertise, and industry relationships to bring TV shows, films, and film & tv production companies into the fold of the new venture.
